ABOUT ABOUT

Nestled nearby is a keystone to the history and heritage of the Lehigh Valley. Archibald Johnston, first mayor of Bethlehem and Bethlehem Steele executive chose to settle his family at Camel's Hump farm in Bethlehem Township.

The family mansion, now the CENTERPIECE of Housenick Park, 3811 Christian Spring Rd, Bethlehem, PA will be open to the public ONE DAY ONLY. Learn about Archie and Estelle, get inside the grand mansion and view the Curtis Lacelove architet built home of Bethlehem's first mayor. Bring a picnic and enjoy lunch on the lawn just like the family and Bethlehem Steel workers did in the 1930s.

HELP SAVE THE MANSION - your ticket donation will go to the revitalization, restoration of Archie's Place. The future of the mansion will be a community use center that focuses on arts, education and historical preservation. Be a part of Bethlehem Townships future by honoring our past.
